Abstract
This essay deals with the topic of pressure injuries in intensive care, initially explaining the pathophysiological mechanism underlying this phenomenon, the factors that determine it, modifiable or not, and those related to the intensive care environment. Then, through an in- depth review of the most recent literature, the topic is treated with an innovative meaning, which aims at the discovery of new working methods, medications, technologies, with the aim of reporting the latest discoveries relating to this problem. That has weighed on the international health system for several decades. Through this work of bibliographic research, the most innovative treatments have therefore been selected, which answer the research questions that i asled myself at the beginning of this research, to bring to the vision the evidence, which in the future could also be integrated with the within our territory.
