Abstract
Background: Sicile cell disease is a disease that is spreading more and more in our country. It is chronic disease that affects the quality of life of sick people, on proportion to thé type and intensity of the disease itself and its complications. Objective: The objective of this thesis is the study of the literature on the tratment of painful crises in children with Sicikle cell disease, identifying the interventions that best respond to the request for help made by indivisuals who go to the health facility. Materials and Methods: In order to archieve the set goals, an in-depht research was carrierd out most upto-date IT platforms (Salute.gos; La Gazzetta Ufficiale; PibMed; Pain Nurse Magazine..); in addition, articles and textbooks were consulted. Conclusions: Responding to the objective set initially, different pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods were found in the treatment of vaso-occlusive crises. Pharmacological methods are used most, in particular it has been seen that intervening in the first 30 minutes halves the intensity of referred pain.
