Abstract
Explosive Personality Disorder is a psychiatric pathology that is as rare as it is disabling for both the patient and those around him. The paper aims to provide information about the explosive personality disorder, its nursing care and the role that the nurse has within a psychiatric facility. In the first chapter all personality disorders were treated with a focus on explosive personality disorder, in the second chapter the nursing role and the soft skills that a nurse must have in order to work in a psychiatric facility were treated. While in the last chapter a clinical case was presented, exposing the care plan and referring to the NANDA, NIC and NOC taxonomy.
