Abstract
The thesis aims to analyze how a psychiatric pathology is influenced, in many respects, by a pathological addiction. In the paper a particular clinical case is presented, the patient under consideration suffers from a double diagnosis, or the coexistence of due diagnosis, specifically a psychiatric diagnosis and drug addiction. All fields of the patient's daily life are investigated, in order to be able to study and how to understand they are influenced by the pathology, and in cases they influence it. The starting point for this paper comes from a strong interest in the discipline taken into consideration, fascinating is the way in which the figure of the nurse takes care of the disease of the patients who suffer from this professional. The conclusions show the interventions and therapeutic treatments that the nurse must implement to undertake a treatment path that is the most personalized and complete for the patient. The professional not only deals with basic nursing practices, but also with advanced skills, taking care of the relational and behavioral part that characterizes the person.
