Abstract
In this paper, we went to investigate palliative care in the pediatric setting. The review was using the following keywords: cancer, nursing, pediatric, palliative, care. The means of going to review the bibliography was consultation of databases such as Pubmed, Cinahl, Cochrane Library, NICE, and the internet resources Google Books and Google Scholar. The paper is divided into four chapters where we will will go on to discuss: the types of neoplasia, palliative care and the nodes of the health care system to deliver them with mention of the bridges that connect communication of these with the patient, going on to view tools fundamental to nursing care in the pediatric setting and the presence of the core curriculum in this clinical setting. In the writing we will go talk about pharmacological and nonpharmacological techniques used for palliation. It will will also go to view the profession of the bioethicist and its importance in this field where ethical dilemmas are ever increasing, also it will view therapeutic futility and the dying person's bill of rights.
