Abstract
The ever more emerging problem relating to the increase in discomfort in mental health among adolescents pushes us to seek effective care methods to reduce the occurrence of risk factors and carry out effective prevention so that cases decrease. The difficulties that arise within non-specialized settings to accommodate this type of patients can be reduced with the use of evidence-based strategies. The intent is to fill the care gaps that some crisis situations create during hospitalization. First of all, it is essential to know what the adolescent approach to stressful life events and hospitalization is and what risk factors can negatively affect their experience. The professional's response to the request for help varies according to the type of discomfort you experience; therefore, it is important to accurately assess the prevalence of disorders and the signs and symptoms with which patients present themselves. Currently these can be explained by the direct consequences of quarantine and isolation measures. The results show that the main disorders related to the pandemic are anxiety, depression, suicidal / self-harm behaviors, drug abuse, increased loneliness, irritability and sleep disorders. The purpose of the work is to focus on the use of communication and relationships as a therapeutic tool for prevention, in accordance with the use of specific training systems.
