Abstract

The nursing process describes how nurses plan, implement and evaluate care for people, families, groups and communities. It is described as a clinical process consisting of five phases: assessment, diagnosis, planning, management of interventions and evaluation. Taxonomies such as NANDA-I, NOC, NIC and standardized languages such as CCCS are used to develop a nursing process. They have now entered the daily life of many Italian and foreign hospitals. The aim of this paper is to assess the complete adaptability of the CCCS to the needs of planning in an intensive care setting, considering an assistance plan developed with the NNN taxonomy and attempting to "translate" diagnosis, objectives and interventions, with CCC language. A review of the literature has been carried out through a bibliographic search using the following databases Pubmed, CINAHL and the search engine Google Scholar reaching the conclusion, through the publish. However, it has been possible to derive some information on its applicability from some studies.ed articles, that the experience of applying classification in clinical-care practice is rather limited. This dissertation allows us to conclude that the CCC is a language based on research, can be used in all clinical-care settings and its use is free and does not require special licenses. It can be used in paper or computerized documentation although, the computerized system is able to fully exploit all the potential offered by the use of a standardized language for the documentation of nursing practice.
