Abstract

Cystic fibrosis is a hereditary disease of the exocrine glands that mainly affects the gastrointestinal and respiratory systems. It leads to chronic lung disease, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, abnormally high liver disease and electrolytes in sweat. In order to deal with the complexity of care and care of the person, multidisciplinary care and therapeutic diagnostic pathways are necessary that address both patients and health professionals who are in charge of them. These people certainly need a global take-up, a typical feature of nursing care in chronicity and disability. The number of patients with cystic fibrosis diagnosed with Covid-19 remains relatively low at present, making it difficult to draw conclusions about the impact of the virus infection (Beser at al., 2021). There has been a growing interest in indirect forms of care and care, thanks to the needs that brought out the pandemic. Among these types of assistance and care there is the use of telemedicine, which allows at a distance to monitor and follow more people at the same time with the saving of resources such as time, equipment, health staff. Many clinics have adapted their operating systems with digital platforms, providing monitoring systems and remote consultation of specific disease parameters, even aggravated by the presence of coronavirus infection.
