Abstract

In recent years, the Italian Ministry of Health has provided increasingly specific indications for the development of local services. This is also due to the SARS Cov-2 health emergency that we are still experiencing, leveraging on the principles of effective integration, information and communication, community participation and health promotion. What the various health care professionals are invited to do, in order to ensure continuity of care, is to implement initiative medicine, through the overall care of the citizen. These indications are not only objectives but are a real growth path of the far from homogeneous National Health Service. With the Covid19 emergency, Italy had to consider the terms of the best hospital / territory connection, being unprepared like the rest of the world for such an excessive load of new activities in the short term. This paper deals with the 116117 telephone number for non-urgent care and addresses the emerging figure of the Family and Community Nurse, an opportunity to improve and enhance of assistance on the territory. This is an important technological and digital challenge, also aimed at the development of digital healthcare such as telemedicine, which can avoid overcrowding, waiting times, cancellation of medical services and monitoring of chronic conditions. The aim of the thesis is to promote the knowledge of provisions to citizens for non-urgent services and to highlight the usefulness of the nursing figure. It was conducted a review of the literature through the use of databases such as PubMed, Google Schoolar and ResearchGate, on European and national legislation, investigating the Italian experiences in the area of promotion of the territory.
