Abstract
Vaccinations and in particular paediatric vaccination have been submitted as one of the most discussed topics in recent years. Today, the population seems to be increasingly doubtful about the subject, due to the spread of false and unfounded news that lead parents to hesitate on the possibility of vaccinating or not their children.
The use of social media, the spread of false and deceptive news and the propagation of anti-vaccine movements contribute to an increase social scietticism, causing a decrease in vaccination coverage.
The ultimate aim of the research is to provide a greater knowledge about risks and benefits related to vaccination, in order to avoid parents to be misled towards the non-choice of vaccination bysome incorrect pieces of information.
Finally, a review of the scientific literature has been carried out in order to highlight the importance of nurse in the adopting strategies of communication phase, thanks to which parents can be led towards a conscious, right and safe choice for the health of their children.
