Abstract
Head trauma represents one of the most difficult and demanding challenges in treating the trauma patient.
The increase in frequency, in mortality and the severity of the outcomes of cranio-cerebral trauma, have added, in recent years, a social and economic value of great importance to this problem of medical-specialist competence.
The objective of this thesis is to develop a care plan using NNN taxonomies.
Nursing skills in neurosurgical unit are taken into consideration, as well as patient education as an early and planned education favors the hospital course and the education of family members about the disease and its management at home throughout the course rehabilitation.
