Abstract
Breast cancer is one of the most frequently diagnosed cancers in women in all age groups, and it was only in 2018 that 52300 cases of breast cancer were diagnosed. And once they’ve diagnosed the tumor, women can’t always accept each other, and they start to take on behaviors and attitudes that are damaging to themselves and to the people around them. And even after surgery, women can’t always accept each other, and they’re afraid that there might be damage to their bodies.
This thesis aims to inform women about the post-operative phase and to define possible nursing interventions, through the creation of an information brochure, which will then be distributed to women who will be operated on in the surgery department of Carpi Hospital.
