Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to demonstrate that the type of organisation of different departments in a hospital can be improved.
I Beginning describing the problem in Italy that has not led to choose innovative models, then, through a framework of the concept I deepen the four elements that constitute the organizational model of the primary nursing, the main figures and the various factors and the case method.
I continue, describing some of the realities in which this model has been tested, going from the medical departments to the surgery departments and from the outpatients to the day hospital, until its implementation through the various phases of experimentation taking an example from the Emilia-Romagna. Finally, I show the evaluations of a questionnaire placed to nurses in the reality of the IEO.
