Abstract
Schizoaffective Disorder is one of the most debated psychiatric diagnoses, both for its frequently questioned nosological status, and for the uncertainty concerning the care of these patients among the various professional figures. The purpose of this work is to provide a general overview of the disorder, then analyse the role of the nurse within the therapeutic-rehabilitation process and planning nursing care according to the NANDA-I, NOC, NIC Taxonomy, considering the real and potential problems of a patient with Schizoaffective Disorder.
