Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to observe the degree of preparation of the nurses of the Operative Unit of the Pavullo nel Frignano Hospital on the management of the venous Picc and Midline accesses. The hypothesis of the study is that nurses are not sufficiently prepared on the subject. This is a quantitative cross-sectional application that uses a questionnaire containing ten closed-answer questions, to the nurses of the U.O. such as the Homogeneous Surgery-Orthopedics Area, Acute Medicine, Post-Acute Medicine, the Emergency Room and the Operating Room; data were collected between the months of September 2018 and October 2018. Elaborating the data, it is clear that nurses’ knowledges on the Picc and Midline vascular accesses are not enough.
