Abstract
This thesis deals with nursing assessment and care planning for people with anxiety disorders.
In the first part of the dissertation a classification of these disorders is provided and the pharmacological treatment is illustrated. Then the quantitative and qualitative tools used by the nurse during the evaluation of the patient are highlighted, continuing with an analysis of non-pharmacological therapy, including complementary therapies.
Finally, a model of care planning is proposed through the use of Nanda-I, Noc and Nic taxonomy.
