Abstract
This thesis was born from the desire to know deep the freelance nurse. Profession little known exercised in this way, or even unknown, that it could be the future of many recent graduates or graduates who want to change "street" and they devote themselves to a different modality from the custom to carry out the nursing profession. In the elaborate it is, first of all, defined who is the freelance nurse and how he can operate the profession, following certain obligations. They are mentioned regulations that it is necessary to follow to be able to carry out the profession, it indicates what is the nursing documentation to which the freelancer must refer. Furthermore, they are explained the ways in which the freelance nurse can carry out the profession : individual, in an associative form, in the form of a cooperative or in the form of a partnership between professionals. It illustrates the social security system to which a freelance nurse must register: the E.N.P.A.P.I.
Finally, there is a brief survey that it has been submitted to five freelance nurses, who have motivated their choice, they have shown strengths and weaknesses of the free profession, they have expressed the modalities in which they carry out the profession and at last they have reported the modalities in which a freelancer can make known.
