Abstract
Poisoning and intoxication in pediatric age they represent increasingly frequent events for the child, of consequently the analysis to prepare them is fundamental specific prevention campaigns aimed at reducing their size and severity. The epidemiological knowledge of accidents allows in fact identify the environmental risk factors and those intrinsic in some activities or behaviors typical of the evolutionary age. This is possible improve the information of parents and educators, stimulating legislative interventions aimed at modifying the environments of life and life behaviors of the child and adolescent. The progressive increase in the incidence of
poisonings / poisonings of domestic origin involving a child, highlighted by the casuistry of the first structures Rescue, suggests that risks and risks are often underestimated prevention is still not enough. The first interventions useful to reduce damage and complications are often not known by families consequently, the necessity of a health education is shown targeted (Bini et al., 2016).
