Abstract
Alzheimer dementia is an age-related clinical condition, frequently observed clinically when the presence of BPSD appears to be a daily problem. The patient suffering from dementia is a complex patient, since there are often comorbidities associated with the underlying pathology and behavioral disorders associated with it. So the repercussions are not only physical but also psychological, behavioral, social and economic. For all these reasons, the care and care of the patient must not be solely based on solving problems during the critical period, but also in the daily management of the disease in order to preserve the dignity of the person and support the caregiver. The purpose of this paper was to investigate behavioral disorders management by integrating a pharmacological approach with a cognitive-relational approach. The long follow-up required and the few studies at our disposal make it imperative the need to continue to implement the patient's care. However, healthcare professionals are aware of the need to preserve the physical and psychological state of the patient by integrating a cognitive and behavioral approach to pharmacological therapy.
