Abstract
This thesis deals with the management of central venous catheters in pediatric Onco-Hematology, a very complex subject that has now become indispensable in clinical practice. The goal of the thesis is to highlight the role of the therapeutic and health education of the patient, in order to minimize the incidence of complications, emphasized with statistical data. Precisely for this reason, it has become necessary to adopt nursing protocols that provide sequential rules of behavior, derived from guidelines designed to reduce the risks of complications, linked to an incorrect management of the intravasal devices. In conclusion with the usage of the Nanda-I, NIC and NOC Taxonomy, I will develop the priority diagnoses for a better evaluation of the signs and symptoms related to the CVC and for a better life quality of the patient.
