Abstract
THE OBJECT of the thesis is the nursing care in the acute phase to people struck by cerebral Stroke.
IMPORTANCE OF THE PROBLEM: Cerebral ictus represents an important public health problem: is the first cause of disability, the second of insanity and the third of death in the industrialised world. A timely and qualified intervention is usually able to decrease considerably the individual and social consequences of the cerebral damage.
THE METHOD used for the editing of the thesis has been the analysis of the procedures of nursing care to patients struck by ictus Stroke in different services both non-hospital care and First Aid of Modena’s USL hospital firm.
THE AIM of the thesis is emphasising the importance of the nursing care’s activities provided since the first hours from the appearance of the cerebral ictus.
CONCLUSIONS: The nursing care activity to the person struck by ischaemic Stroke requires managerial procedures and protocols as well as treatment of the acute phase. The nursing care planning benefits the use of taxonomy and ranking system of reference such as NANDA-I, NOC and NIC. The acquisition of a specific nursing competence is fundamental in order to guarantee efficacy to the nursing care operations.
