Abstract

With the gradual aging of the world's population, thanks to improvements in health care quality and advances in medicine, the focus of health care today is mainly chronic illnesses. These are becoming more and more common in the population, and with the rise in people's survival index, they have become a condition for the subject to learn to live together for many years. One of the main features of chronic illnesses is the impact on the everyday life of the individual, the importance of good adherence to the therapeutic plan not only for the treatment of morbid condition but also for the prevention of complications and the great repercussion on the emotional level.
One of the chronic illnesses of world interest not only because of its widespread circulation, but also because of the important and potential complications and the rigor of the therapeutic plan, is diabetes. Two major American studies of this disease have been reported that analyze the emotional impact of diabetes in people affected by it using scientific and validated assessment scales, described and reported in the annexes.
In addition, in the scientific, but also human, personal interest, the complication of the renal system: chronic renal insufficiency has been studied.
Finally, in order to have a concrete example of what has been argued and to implement the nursing care effort for this specific case, a diabetic person with renal complication has been identified to be able to perform a nursing test based on model M. after his consent. Gordon with subsequent identification of NANDA- International, NOC and NIC Nursing Diagnoses.
