Abstract
This work examines the most important aspects of nursing care of patients who have wounds of difficult healing and for which has been used the Negative Pressure Therapy (TPN). The analysis was realized throughout the systematic review of the literature, in particular the one of Emilia-Romagna region, and the consultation of websites about this medical device, already long used in the international overview and less in the national one. The aim is to try to demonstrate the validity of this therapy in terms of improvement of the patient’s quality of life (from a multidimensional point of view) and topical management. I have considered two clinical cases, personally experienced by me, which highlight the appropriateness of the presidium in certa in circumstances. Moreover, I decided to discuss the requirements that a nurse must have to achieve a quality nursing care, characterized by Evidence Based Nursing (EBN) ed Evidence Based Practice (EBP).
