Abstract
Burn is considered an acute traumatic pathology, characterized by the partial or total destruction of the skin coating caused by contact with a thermal, radiant, chemical or electrical origin injury agent. It is one of the main causes of death in both the undeveloped and developing countries, most of which occurs in the domestic environment. That is why timely interventions by health professionals are of paramount importance to increase the expectation of life to which these patients meet. In this composition, I suggest to analyze the aspects of nursing care and the behaviors that nursing staff must perform in front of a patient who has had injuries from burns, from the moment of the incident to his physical recovery, by considering the interventions to be implemented to limit secondary damage and mortality. To accomplish this, I conducted a systematic review of literature based on the latest scientific evidence by consulting major search engines such as Google Scholar, Google Books and Databases.
