Abstract
The choice of the most appropriate treatment of bedsores (LdP) is yet uncertain and leads to divergence of opinions among the nurses. Documents of the local healthcare authority on prevention and the treatment of LdP can be a valuable tool to meet the professionals needs and ensure the best possible approach, defined from the latest scientific evidences. The purpose of the Survey is to find out in wich terms nurses notice the complexity of managing LdP and what's their opinion about the use of Documents of the local healthcare authority. A built-in questionnaire ad hoc was distributed, through more widespread web channels, to nurses belonging to different Italian working life and various operating units. The study has highlighted critical points in the clinical practice of caring of the LdP, the need of a targeted training on the topic and the need of taking advantage from peer counseling relationships (nursing consultancy).
