Abstract
Nowadays, despite knowledge, drug addiction is a problem that characterizes our country. Concern is not so much about the use of drugs, but the consequences that these can cause, not least: death. Two are the substances treated in this script: heroin and cocaine, two historical substances that once taken are able to change the balance of an individual causing serious damage.
It's hard to accept that despite all the knowledge about substances and detoxification, some people get to death, but we often forget that drug addiction is caused by environmental factors but also from genetic factors and that our society should begin to evaluate both of these aspects.
Prevention is not only tied to the beginning of substance use, but can also be approached from another point of view, as in this case on overdose prevention, through a kit that is given to users of a drug service addiction, after appropriate therapeutic education.
If all that was not enough, it is important to be clear about what to do in case of overdose and therefore have a procedure in all services to deal with the situation, where each has its task to follow step by step to avoid the death of the user.
