Abstract
In this elaboration deals with the migratory phenomenon that has affected, and affects, our territory at the national and regional-local level, giving particular importance to the surveillance of the pathologies of migrants upon their arrival, with the relevant protocols to be followed for their identification and reporting to the Healthcare System.
Will be treated scabies as the most common infestation.
We will talk about the role of the nurse, the health care person most in touch with this type of patient, in assisting with "culturally different" people, underlining the importance of Transcultural Nursing as an approach to be used with migrant patients, using a vision holistic, and multidisciplinary and multiprofessional team to better understand the health needs of the population concerned, addressing other figures as well as the cultural mediator, so that a proper therapeutic relationship can be established.
In the elaboration, reference will also be made to existing legislation on immigration in the health field.
Finally, a standard PDA will be presented to a migrant person with Taxonomy NANDA-I, NOC and NIC.
