This thesis aims to investigate nursing care to people with different culture in particular studying

palliative care offered at home.
In a multicultural society how current reality is in the world and in italian context, it's important to know how

to assist terminally ill foreign patient.
To ensure the quality of care in this context it is necessary taking care of person in a global way according to

different needs: physiological, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs. It is necessary to ensure better quality of life, relieving pain and controlling the disturbing symptoms, to support the family to face death, so delicate situation, and accompany their loved in the best way; all this throw a interdisciplinary cooperation which may require the intervention of various healthcare workers.

The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first presents the migratory situation in the world and in Italy,
the characteristics of the health of immigrants, their access to the national health service, the rules designed to protect them and the unique aspects of nursing transcultural, with particular reference to the Italian situation.
The second chapter describes home care and there are given information regarding the access of culturally diverse groups of people to integrated home care of Modena during 2016. Finally, in the third chapter it was studied in depth palliative care, their organization at regional level and their detection in different cultural contexts.
