Abstract
Relevance of the problem: The two-year period 2015-2016 was marked by a
feeling of fear and disorder because of the terrorist attacks that occurred in various
European countries. Subject of the thesis are the procedures that are implemented in
the event of maxiemergencies or disasters, which can be a terrorist attack. Method:
the various stages of the process with which it faces a maxi emergencies, the types of
event, the consequences, the roles and nursing skills necessary in CBRN events
(nuclear, biological, chemical, radiological) and resulting from terrorist attacks were
analyzed. The aim of the thesis is to describe the chain of health relief, from the
alarm phase to the arrival in the hospital of health resources, through the role of the
Operational Centre 118 (CO 118), the importance of the Advanced Medical Post
(PMA) and the field triage. In conclusion it is possible to recognize and track a
specific nursing role in the maxiemergencies response process related to CBRN
events (nuclear, biological, chemical, radiological) and terrorist events.
