Abstract
The goal of this study is collect and sinthesize information about Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), to explain the most common mechanism that cause it, the various type, to debate the first aid , and its phases of assessment/valutation, even with the help of specific valutation scales, management of the fundamental complications ( premature and tardive) immobilitation and transport to the most appropriate hospital. All of this fundamental imprtance, to reduce the minimum potencial complications, improving the prognosis, the perspective and the quality of the patient's life and that one of his family. This study has been condicted consulting this following databases: Cochrane Library, EMBASE, Pubmed, Scopus, Web of science, MEDLINE, PSycINFO, science direct.
