Abstract
This thesis has as main topic of nursing care to the patient with lung cancer. The first part introduces the disease in several respects: the epidemiology, risk factors, histopathology, staging, innovative techniques for the diagnosis, symptoms, treatment (surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, biological).
The second part introduces the sufferer of lung cancer for nurses highlighting several key aspects: its symptomatology and energy management, the description of the disease in terms of psycho-social, pain management "total" oncology and its evaluation, management of complications related to the radio toxicity of chemotherapy, central venous catheters which plays a key role in the prevention of various complications.
In the third part, however, it will be fully described as a customized service plan using taxonomy NANDA-I, NIC and NOC, on a case report of a patient with lung adenocarcinoma.
