Abstract
In the patient with pathology of Dual Diagnosis during the abstinence period may emerge some of the major pathological features. One of the most striking features is the manipulation that the patient puts into action on health professionals requiring compulsively drug therapy for suppress the symptoms of abstinence. The aim of this thesis is to identify risk factors in the patient-nurse relationship caused by the manipulative strategies and possible communication and behavioral methods to cope with this problem. The contents listed here are written in the form of Case Report divided into 5 parts: after giving an initial definition of Dual Diagnosis and patient Borderline and Addict, I wanted to emphasize the uniqueness of the nursing therapeutic relationship with the patient both during the welcome at hospitalization. Subsequently I have studied the characteristics of the manipulation, intrinsic tract of these patients, identifying which strategies put in place in order to avoid this risk factor. Finally I wanted to bring back some evidence of health workers compared to their own subjective experience in the relationship with the patient of Dual Diagnosis. I conclude with the creation of a care plan with taxonomy NANDA-I, NIC, NOC.
