Abstract
This thesis comes from a personal interest, born during my internships and in particular during the internship at the Home Care of Sassuolo.The bed sores affect more than 20% of the patients assisted by hospitals and their prevention and treatment is a nursing responsability.
Its purpose is to develop a brochure for relatives and patients, above the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers.
In the first part of the thesis I talk about pressure sores, their classification, guidelines for their prevention and treatment.
In the second part I talk about home care and therapeutic importance of education in the home environment and we suggest the use of the brochure that I have written for.
