Abstract
Based on the analysis of the Traumatic brain injury literature and the observation of Cesena reality and the PROSAFE project, we've designed a follow up service to be included in the neuro intensive unit in NOCSAE hospital in Baggiovara. The service, presented in this thesis, is intended to evaluate, assist and educate the patient after hospital discharge.
The objectives of the project, the target population,the phases, the planned activities and the resources needed have all been defined through the context and local reality analysis in order to create a telephonic and outpatient follow up service reflecting the needs of the operating unit and of the patient himself.
