Abstract
The dissertation comes from a personal interest to the subject, born during the experience of training at the operations center Modena Soccorso. The objective is to underline the importance of training of nurses working in the emergency territorial service in order to reduce mortality and morbidity from trauma.
In the first part of the thesis it is discussed the evolution of the figure of nursing and emergency service; in the second, more specific, we talk about Trauma, Prehospital Trauma Care and operational protocols used on the territory of Modena.
