Abstract
In the first chapter I will address the problem of renal failure, its typical manifestations, etiology, clinical picture, prevention and disease management, with particular reference to patients in intensive care, and renoprotective drugs most commonly used.
The second chapter speaks of renal replacement therapies, what are the signs, types and their characteristics. I will focus on what are the contraindications and complications related assisted person connected to the machine and the characteristics of patients with septic shock and multiple organ dysfunction treated with CRRT. Finally, the role of the nurse in intensive care, the management of critically ill patients undergoing CRRT and related complications that occur during the treatment regimen.
The third chapter covers the planning nursing diagnosis divided by NANDA-I and related NIC and NOC.
