Abstract
This thesis deals with the burnout syndrome that affects operators, particularly nurses, during their professional life and methods to manage it and prevent it.
Although it is a topic studied since 1900, burnout is a modern phenomenon that involves problems not only on a personal level, both physical and psychological, but also at the corporate level and organizational.
Precisely for this reason it's very important to act against burnout, especially since the training, analysis of work contexts and loads more and more excessive for an inadequate number of staff.
The management is entrusted not only to the organizational structures but also to individual operators, who must become aware of themselves and change attitudes and behaviors.
By implementing these methods can overcome burnout and take back their lives.
