Abstract
The nurse that works on an ambulance most of the cases is the first to intervene on the crime scene, in order to provide first aid to the victims of violence. In these cases, the intervention strategies become complex because there could be a risk of tampering with the evidence.
On one hand, first aid operations should aim at the maximum effort to effectively manage the emergency; on the other hand, these operations should not tamper with the evidence, useful to the police during their investigation.
The aim of this work is to identify health operation protocols in order to provide effective guide lines about the procedures to follow outside the hospital environment, when there is a possible crime scene. This is done with a focus on the step by step actions to be taken to avoid or shorten the risk of tampering with evidence, where the main objective is to assist the victims of a crime.
