Abstract
The hemodialysis Fistula Artero Venosa represents a key element for proper conduction of an efficient hemodialysis.
For this reason it is extremely important to spread to all health workers potentially involved, the knowledge relating to the proper management of fistula Artero Venosa.
This information enables an appropriate use and proper supervision of the FAV, to allow rapid recognition of complications; the same way it is vital that the same information is also provided to the patient and family members.
This thesis summarizes the basic facts about fistula Artero Venosa, starting by the attention necessary for the safeguarding of the vein in the patient with chronic renal failure in pre-dialysis, to the evaluation of sentinel events during its use, that should guide the early research of possible of a malfunction or complications.
