Abstract
In this my paperwork, I have tried to highlight the importance of providing quality of care. Every company and every professional should aim to quality, to meet both, the needs of patients, that requires high-level performances, to reduce costs and to promotre professional development. In order to provide a high quality care, the nurse needs to be constantly up to date and competent, and therefore relies on the process of Continuous Medical Education and the "tools" of quality of care, such as guidelines, procedures, protocols, the nursing records and the EBN (Evidence Based Nursing) process. The last aspect I developed, in my paperwork, is the importance that VQAI (Assessment of Quality Nursing Care) has in improving the health activities. This assessment is realized using indicators, standards and especially the VRQ (Audit and Review of Quality), which represents the actual level of quality of the provided services.
