Abstract
Dementias represent the most common pathology among elderly men, and between these pathologies, Lewy body dementia is the second one more frequent after Alzheimer.
DLB has different characteristics: hallucinations, Parkinson’s disease, cognitive fluctuations, sleeping sickness and mood swings.
Not existing yet a valid cure that allows the regression of the disease, the main objective of the medical assistance is to provide for patient’s lacks.
The work of the nurse, will be particulary based on: creture comforts (to wash, to dress, to feed and sleep), setting, relations and patient’s family education, in order to guarantee the best living condition of the patient and who stay next to him.
