Abstract
The objective of this thesis was to search for in the literature, the Reiki treatment as a therapeutic intervention nursing. They are going to see this on various databases: PubMed, CINAHL, PEDro, Elsevier, Cochrane, UpToDate, Royal College of Nursing, New Zealand Guidelines Group, National System Guidelines, Guidelines Registred Nurses Association of Ontario, SIGN, National Guideline Claringhouse Scopus and Trip database. Data were collected for projects and trials of Reiki treatments to patients in the hospital, especially in oncology, such as education intervention and self-care as an intervention for active participation in the care of patients in caregivers, especially in children. We also collected data on the effects of Reiki treatment on symptoms of pain, anxiety, depression, salivary IgA, insomnia, well-being, relaxation, blood pressure, migraine, heart rate and respirations.
