Abstract
More than 2.3 million people have in their lives a diagnosis of cancer. The oncological diseases produce a deterioration of the health and quality of life, already deteriorated by the tumor. Treatments for cancer diseases can cause the following side effects: nausea, vomiting, weakness, fatigue, diarrhea, fatigue, anemia. In addition to the reactions of the body, the cancer disease also affects the way you feel, think and do things. Measuring the Quality of Life (QoL) by TIQ questionnaire, can be used as an outcome measure in research on the benefits for the different treatment methods.
The results issued from the observation in DHO emphasize that patients have symptoms of different intensity, while still having treatment support. The tools used to measure QoL can encourage a more holistic approach . Being able to add an effective management of side effects caused by cancer treatments and disease, and put a due attention to the s bio-, psycho-,social persons sphere, are prime targets for health professionals.
