Abstract
The thesis presents an examination of issues related to clinical and care in critically ill patients with acute renal failure that is treated by hemofiltration.
Starting from the pathophysiology of the clinical condition of acute renal failure, we describe the indications for replacement therapy, diversifying between one type and another. In particular, it illustrates the technique of emomicrofiltrazione continues, associating to this the problem of blood clotting in the circuit.
The second part of the thesis deals with nursing care of the patient, differentiating the preparation and management of the treatment, with particular attention to the problems and complications that may occur.
