Abstract

Myocardial revascularization is the most common surgical procedure in cardiac surgery. More than 150,000 interventions CABG (Coronary Bypass Graft Arthery ) are performed worldwide each year since 1990 . The traditional surgical technique for the execution of this type of intervention involves the use of the machine heart - lungs also called Bypass Cardio - pulmonary .
This thesis is organized in 4 chapters. The first chapter talks about the anatomy and physiology of the heart. The second chapter describes the operation of coronary artery bypass graft , the indications, the techniques and the complications related to post-operative . In the last two chapters is therapeutic education , the role of nursing and care nursing .
The aim of this thesis is to point out and verify the effectiveness of the role of nursing , to see how the nurse can establish a therapeutic relationship by putting in place strategies that will help the patient to accept the change and new lifestyle .
The purpose of the educational relationship is to make sure that the patient learns from our teaching through personalized care planning interventions , so as to be able to deal with the difficulties associated with post-operative course and regain its independence.
The experiences reported in the literature confirm that the most serene and prepared the patient faces surgery, the better the results in the recovery.
The communication was found to be essential for the safety of the patient , therefore it must be put in the spotlight and in center of our goals.
Therapeutic education is the optimal tool to achieve this goal through the creation of a care pathway dedicated to guide the patient after hospital discharge to be fully aware of the intrinsic risks in the post-acute phase and that makes him an active subject in the continuation of activities rehabilitative shared .
