Abstract
This thesis discusses the use of ultrasound and the areas of its use by the nurse. The possible methods of investigation and the approaches to it.
In the second part of the text covers all the legal aspects and training involving the nursing, considering the possible liability and complications associated with the use of the ultrasound and how these modify the approach to the patient.
It is exposed a new path of nursing education ultrasound in hospitals in Carpi and Mirandola, oriented to the use of ultrasound in the Emergency Unit.
Finally, the training, the proposal for a new form of report and statistics, derived from the data collected over a period of time of nine months, divided into quarters to better follow the progress of the training and any problems encountered by operators newborn are described.
